The Editors of Public Art Dialogue are now inviting submissions for all sections of the journal. All textual submissions should be formatted according to the MLA Handbook's style, with endnotes if citations are utilized.

Articles
We are seeking scholarly articles presenting new information or interpretations of subjects pertaining to the theme of the issue. There will be opportunities for open issues without specific, predetermined themes as well. If you have any question about the appropriateness of your paper, please consult the co-editors.  Articles should be 5000-8000 words, inclusive of citations and bibliography. (Please offer an estimate of how many images you anticipate including, keeping in mind that there may be limitations due to journal length. Likewise, please indicate which images you would prefer to have reproduced in color, with the understanding that only black-and-white may be available.)

Essays
These are opinion pieces, comparable to position papers that advocate a particular approach (theoretical or otherwise) to the subject. Essays should be 2000-3000 words, inclusive of citations and bibliography if appropriate. (Please indicate if you anticipate including any images and if so how many, keeping in mind that there may be limitations due to journal length. Likewise, please indicate which images you would prefer to have reproduced in color, with the understanding that only black-and-white may be available.)

Artists' Projects
Artists' projects generally relate to the theme of the issue but may take any form that can be included in the journal. Links to web-based works are also acceptable. Artists' statements (to accompany projects) – 250-1000 words, inclusive of citations and bibliography if appropriate. (Please offer an estimate of how many images you anticipate including and/or pages you anticipate your project will require. Please indicate which images require color, and which may be reproduced in black-and-white.)

All articles, essays and artists' projects should be sent to the Editorial Assistant, Mary Tinti (tinti00@yahoo.com), in electronic format only. If a hard copy is required, we will contact you to request it.

Book Reviews

Book reviews should be approximately 500 words in length, and will be assigned by our reviews editor. The number of reviews will be determined on an issue-by-issue basis.
